FAQ

What does PMS stand for?

PMS is the abbreviation for Property Management System, which stands for software that lets you keep track of reservations, manage rates and availability, and extract management information. Nowadays we do much more with it and the PMS is the beating heart of your organization administratively and informatively.

What does No Cure No Pay mean?

At Hotels Online we believe in the principle that you pay by results, in our case that is: using our PMS. We bill monthly on an after-the-fact basis, looking at the number of occupied rooms in that period. After all, an occupied room has led to revenue and thus brought money into the bank. Thus, we make costs variable just like your business.
If you have had low occupancy, then the cost for that month will be a little lower than in months when occupancy is high, for example, in high season. And are you closed for several weeks or months? Then the counter stands still for a while. Now that really is No Cure No Pay!

What does LodgeGate cost?

The cost of LodgeGate PMS depends on several factors.
How many rooms does the hotel have, are there allotments, do you want to make group reservations, is there software that needs to be linked (interface) and how many OTAs do you want to connect to? Based on this information we determine the version that best suits your business, we choose from Lite, Medium or Full version, with or without interfaces.
These charges are based on number of occupied rooms per night and are billed monthly.

We also charge one-time costs required to set up LodgeGate PMS for your hotel and training for administrators and daily users such as receptionists and administration staff. We charge these costs by the hour, exactly according to our No Cure No Pay principle!

LodgeGate policy on support

The LodgeGate team is available 24 hours a day to provide support on usage and in case of emergencies.

The rules of the game are as follows: for short and simple user questions, we are ready with advice during our office hours. These are Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
If you have an emergency, LodgeGate PMS is slow to respond or our servers are unreachable, please contact our emergency number which we issued at the start of our partnership. You should communicate this well with your employees.
The support person on duty will try to serve you as best as possible during the call.

Why don't we list the emergency number on the website? To prevent misuse of this phone number.
