Unique: combining multiple PSPs

PayByLink allows the hotel to use multiple PSPs within a single environment. For example, if they want to offer additional payment methods that the current PSP does not have.

The payment method then determines which PSP will process the payment, for example:

  • iDEAL via Mollie
  • Credit cards via Worldline
  • WeChat Pay via Buckaroo

This allows the hotel to optimize supply, costs, and conversions.

Ready for the Future: Pay by Bank & Wero

The payment market is developing rapidly, and PayByLink is growing along with it.

iDEAL | Wero (now and future)

Currently, iDEAL | Wero transactions are charged a fixed fee, regardless of the amount.

Starting in 2029, this model will change to a percentage-based fee (±0.35% – 0.45%), which may result in higher costs. In addition, new features will be added, such as Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), with associated risks (such as chargebacks).

Pay by Bank: efficient alternative

Besides Wero, an alternative is growing in Europe: Pay by Bank.

Features:

  • Direct account-to-account payment via the banking app
  • Fixed transaction fees (similar to the current iDEAL model)
  • More than 4,000 connected banks in Europe
  • Payments are reliable and bank-based

PayByLink can offer Pay by Bank in the short term via a PSP from €0.27 per transaction.
