LodgeGate, in partnership with PayByLink, offers its own guarantee method: the time-honored prepayment by email payment request.
This gives the guest the option of paying for the reservation for the first night or for the entire stay in advance.
 
 
 
How does it work?
As usual, a non-refundable reservation will require the guest to pay immediately. LodgeGate will immediately send out a payment link to the guest at the time the reservation is processed, which must be paid within a set period of time. Usually this is within 24 hours.
When making a flexible reservation, it will not be necessary for the guest to pay directly.
 
 
The hotel is free to choose different conditions. This is also easy to set up through PayByLink.
We have many different examples from real-world hotels: from 7 days before arrival, 48 hours or up to 6 p.m. on the day of arrival.
Just about everything can be set to your liking, customized to suit the location and situation.
The hotelier determines the terms of payment and keeps the option of easy repayment.
 
 
Why does LodgeGate offer this service?
Charging a credit card manually ("Keyen") does not provide sufficient guarantee, and credit card companies are going to ban it eventually.
It has already become more expensive in many cases, and if a guest objects, you as a business owner draw the short straw.
